Railway line blown up at two sites

Quetta-Sibi section of Pakistan Railway was blown up at two sites between Quetta and Sariab stations and Sariab and Spezand stations on Sunday. When contacted Railways sources said that unknown persons blew the track by explosive device near Government Degree College in the small hours on Sunday. Due to explosion nearly two feet piece was blown away.
Similarly, a bridge (No-319) was damaged due to bomb explosion in night hours. In view of damage to the rail track, outgoing Quetta Express and Chiltan Express trains were detained at Quetta. Similarly incoming Jaffar Express was detained at Spezand station and Bolan Express at Kolpur station. The track was repaired at 1330 hours and normal traffic was resumed, sources added.
