Memon visits foreign media facilitation desks

The Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Nisar A Memon on Sunday paid a surprise visit to the facilitation desks for foreign media, established by the External Publicity Wing (EPW) of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
The EPW has established facilitation desks in the domestic and international lounges of Islamabad Airport, besides in the office of the Director General (DG), EPW Mansoor Suhail. The minister, expressing satisfaction over the arrangements being extended to the visiting media persons said that the ministry would provide every facility to the visiting media persons.
This would help them properly projecting the polling process, to be held in fair, free and transparent manner. The DG, EPW gave detailed briefing to the minister on the arrangements and facilities being extended to the representatives of the foreign media, who have come here to cover the polling process.
Further, he said that over 700 individuals from print and electronic media representing different nations and media organisations have been given proper services at the facilitation desks, which is working round the clock.
The minister also appreciated the services of DG, EPW and hoped that no stone would be left unturned in providing maximum services to the guests from across the globe.
