German delegation meets City Nazim

The German Member of Parliament, Sebastian Edathy, accompanied by German Consul General at Karachi, Hans Joachim Kiderlen, met City Nazim Mustafa Kamal at his office and both held discussion on matter of mutual interests.
Views were also exchanged on attracting the foreign investors because of ongoing development projects in Karachi and a positive image building of the city at international level.
Nazim Karachi informed the visitors that present city government has taken a number of steps to solve the basic problems of people and provision of basic facilities to them during the last 2 years and particularly the facilities provided for investors as a result of which a billion dollars investment has come over here.
He said the law and order in the city also improved a lot, which helped in restoring the investor's confidence. Nazim Karachi informed that Haq Parast leadership is carrying out development activity in all parts of the city without any discrimination and a fast track development process is going on.
He pointed out that Karachi, which is regarded as country's revenue engine, fulfils the needs of all sectors of the country. It is providing job opportunities to people coming from other parts of the country while its industrial areas are not only strengthening the economy but also providing employment opportunities to people.
Keeping these things in view, he said, the city government spent billions of rupees on infrastructure development to promote industrial sector.
Nazim Karachi informed that land mafia in Karachi is not only occupying government lands but also creating various problems and disturbing law and order.
However, the Haq Parast city government is utilising all resources to provide facilities to people and ensuring a better and prosperous future for them.
