Nawaz, family members cast vote at Islamia College polling station

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif along with his brother and party president Shahbaz Sharif and other members of his family cast his in a polling station set up at Islamia College Railway Road, amid vociferous slogans of "Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif' by supporters.
When the members of Sharif family led by Nawaz arrived at the polling station, large numbers of PML-N workers gathered there and continued sloganeering in favour party leaders for long time. Talking to mediamen on the occasion, Nawaz said that PML-N is winning and public response is overwhelming.
Despite riggings by opponents PML-N will win the polls, he added. He strongly condemned the killing of PML-N candidates for Punjab Assembly seat from Lahore on last night in firing on PML-N election office. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz president Shahabaz Sharif, his brother Abbas Sharif, son Hamza Shahbaz and other members of Sharif family including Nawaz 's mother Shamim Akhter, wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz and wife of his brother Abbas Sharif cast their votes at the polling station.
Nawaz's mother Shamim Akhtar told reporters before casting her vote that her son (Nawaz) is very obedient, who believe in serving countrymen. She said the people of Pakistan had great affection for her son, who would Insha Allah achieve success.
Begum Kulsoon Nawaz told reporters that success of the PML-N is certain despite rigging by rivals. 'I am overwhelmed due to massive public support to Nawaz Sharif', she said, adding that the PML-N is enjoying full public support. Answering a question, she said that if the election results were stolen, the PML-N would launch a protest drive along with PPP.
