Local manufacturers have substantially enhanced tinplate price by Rs 4,500 per ton. Market sources told Geo News that following the recent price-hike tinplate price has reached to a new record level. They attributed this swing in the local price to the tinplate raw material getting costlier in the international market.
They further said that the ghee industry, food and beverages, insecticides and other sectors' packing would also get costlier.
