Ballot papers snatched from polling staff

Some unknown armed men snatched ballot papers from polling staff soon after the start of polling process on Monday. According to eye witness, unidentified gunmen stormed into eight polling stations set up in NA-224 Badin and after taking the staff hostage took away the ballot papers and other offices material.
The polling staff was released later and went on to report the incidents to the police. In another incident six persons were injured in cross firing between two groups of political parties at Qasim Soomro polling station. The injured were identified as Abdul Ihsan, Bulandi, Ijaz Bulandi, Azizullah Bulandi, Zafar Bulandi and Amir. They were taken to the hospital.
