District government's Naib Nazim, Asif Saeed was shot dead here in NA-93 over 'political rivalry', said police on Monday. Police said the incident took place in village 383 JB here. Some supporters of rival political party opened fire at the naib nazim and injured him.
He was rushed to DHQ hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital by the Medical Superintendent. The incident caused injuries to another three who were discharged after medical treatment. Concerned police have arrested five persons of the rival group.
