US MIDDAY: wheat sags

Nearby wheat futures on the Chicago fell to session low past midday Tuesday, led by a sharp profit-taking sell-off in Minneapolis Grain Exchange spring wheat, traders said.
As of 12:40 pm CST (1840 GMT), CBOT March wheat was down 6-1/2 cents at $10.21 per bushel after dipping to $10.18. In Minneapolis the spot March spring wheat contract was down $1.00 or more than 5 percent at $18.35.
