IHC hears 50 cases

Five single benches constituted by Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court (IHC) Sardar Mohammad Aslam on Tuesday heard 50 cases. These cases related to property, domestic and service matters. A large number of legal practitioners appeared before the benches for their cases.
In Chief Justice bench, adjournments were granted over three cases on the requests of legal counsels while notices were issued to different parties. These single benches of Additional Judges comprised Munir Paracha, Dr Sajid Qureshi, Syed Qalb-e-Hassan, Raja Saeed Akram Khan besides Chief Justice bench. The benches will continue hearing cases regularly. About 9,000 cases have been transferred to IHC from Civil Court and Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench.
