ISE index up 2.45 points

Equities showed healthy signs at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Wednesday where bulls strengthened their positions amid increase in index. ISE-10 Index showed an improvement of 2.45 points from 3,152.73 to 3,155.18 points.
The volume of trade amounted to 3,412,800 shares as compared to previous turnover of 3,031,600 shares. Total 136 companies participated in buying and selling activity.
Majority of stocks (85) closed in positive territory, 50 landed in negative column, whereas one company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Arif Habib Securities was 530,700 shares. The turnover of Javed Omer Vohra was 289,600 shares. The volume of Bank of Punjab was 249,700 shares.
