Indian Air Force on a state of high alert

After developments in Pakistan India Air Force was put on a state of high alert. India Air Officer Commanding- in-Chief Western Command Air Marshal P K Barbora said in Chandigarh on Wednesday that Indian Air Force jets would join air exercise 'Redflag' at prestigious Nellis air range in August in the United States.
"For the first time, the IAF will join in an exercise with the US Air Force at the Nellis base," media reports quoting him said six Indian Su-30 MKI fighter aircraft would take part in the exercise, he said and added the IAF had already conducted joint exercises with France, Russia and Singapore.
