CEC directs re-polling in ten stations

Chief Election Commissioner, former justice Qazi Muhammad Farooq on Wednesday directed re-polling in 10 polling stations of different national and provincial constituencies.
According to a notification issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan here, polling will be held again on February 23 at a polling station no 235 set up at the Government Boys High School, Khar that falls in NA-172 (DG Khan-II) and PP-245 (DG Khan-VI).
Voters will again exercise their right to vote in nine polling stations of NA-171 (DG Khan-I) and PP-241 (DG Khan-II). These polling stations include polling station no 62 (Girls Primary School, Basti Dapa), polling station no 231 (Boys Primary High School, Lazdan), polling station no 233 (Boys Primary School), polling station no 252 (Boys Primary School), polling station no 268 (Boys Model School, Domber), polling station no 271 (Boys Primary School, Thakwal), polling station no 295 (Boys Primary School, Samaij), polling station no 303 (Boys Primary School, Barasar Tanga) and polling station no 312 (Boys Primary School, Lophani).
The Chief Election Commissioner has asked the Punjab Chief Secretary to ensure foolproof security arrangements at the polling stations where voters would re-poll their votes.
