22 Feb, 2008

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)'s General Secretary Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehamn has stressed that PML-N will not compromise on national interest at any cost. He said this during a meeting held with a delegation led by party vice president Mian Zulfiqar Rathore here on Thursday.
He said, "Even the rulers cannot save the PML-Q from defeat. Those who have committed corruption will have to face accountability. Justice in a society cannot be ensured without the independence of the judiciary for which lawyers are playing an important role with the full support of the nation."
Furthermore, he said that that process of economic development had been stopped since 1999 after the dismissal of the PML-N government, while the country was pushed to deep crisis making lives of people miserable due to high inflation rate, power cuts and poor law and order." He claimed his party would ensure peace, progress and prosperity and that Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif were committed to steering the country out of the current crisis.
