KSE launches securities trading course

The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) in collaboration with the Institute of Securities, Management and Research has launched a securities trading course at the KSE. The basic purpose of the course is to create awareness and knowledge of stock market trading and operations amongst the investors and to broad base the investors in the country.
The first training programme was started from January 29, 2008 and concluded on February 16, 2008. The course was largely attended by the market participants and investors. After completion of the training programme of the first batch, certificates were distributed amongst the participants by Adnan Afridi, Managing Director of Karachi Stock Exchange.
In order to provide such facilities to retail investors, Karachi Stock Exchange has decided to continue the training programme and accordingly the classes for the second batch will commence from 26th February 2008.
