Attock Petroleum Limited (APL) has earned Rs 534.906 million in the half year period ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 402.033 million in the corresponding period a year back.
The board of directors of the company in its meeting held on Friday declared that earning per share has surged to Rs 11.14 in the period under review against Rs 8.38 in the same period previously.
According to the results, the company's sales increased to Rs 12.983 billion in the half year period against Rs 11.368 billion in the same period in previous year. The cost of product sold stood at Rs 10.899 billion against Rs 9.564 billion. The company's profit before tax increased to Rs 763.906 million in the half year against Rs 557.033 million in the same period a year back.
