President and Prime Minister greet Brunei Sultan on national day

President Pervez Musharraf and Caretaker Prime Minister Muhammadmian Soomro on Saturday greeted Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah on the national day of his country.
In his message sent to the Sultan of Brunei, President Musharraf extended cordial greetings and warm felicitations to him and said Pakistan was happy that Brunei was making steady progress in various fields under his leadership.
He said, "Pakistan and Brunei Darussalam enjoy ties of friendship and co-operation and similarity of views on a wide range of regional and global issues." He expressed confidence that traditionally close and brotherly relations existing between the two countries would continue to grow in the years ahead.
Prime Minister Soomro said, "I am fully confident that the bonds of brotherhood and close co-operation that so happily exist between our two countries will be further strengthened and consolidated to the mutual benefit of our two countries". He expressed his best wishes for Sultan's health and happiness and for the continued progress and prosperity of the brotherly people of Brunei Darussalam.
