ANP to bring peace, tranquillity

The Provincial President, Awami National Party (ANP), Afrasyab Khattuk on Saturday said that if the ANP makes alliance with majority party in the National Assembly, it would stress to bring peace and tranquillity in the North West Frontier Province (NWFP) and in the country.
Talking to a local TV channel, he said that in addition to it, they would focus on promoting economy, education and employment opportunities in the province.
Referring to Asfandyar Wali, he said that ANP could negotiate with other political parties on the issue of autonomy of the provinces. To a question regarding the name of the province, he replied that the ANP stance was supported by the Pakistan People's Party during its government and hoped that the name issue would be solved soon.
