Five Supreme Court benches constituted

Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar has constituted five benches of the apex court to hear cases during this week at the principal registry, Islamabad.
Bench No 1 headed by the Chief Justice himself includes Justice Ejazul Hassan and Justice Chaudhry Ejaz Yousuf. Bench No II comprises Justice Mohammad Nawaz Abbasi, Justice Mohammad Qaim Jan Khan and Justice Mohammad Farrukh Mahmud.
Bench No III comprises Justice Faqir Mohammad Khokhar, Justice Mohammad Akhtar Shabbir and Justice Syed Sakhi Hussain Bokhari. Bench No IV consists of Justice M. Javed Buttar and Justice Sheikh Hakim Ali and Bench No V comprises Justice Sayed Saeed Ashhad and Justice Mian Mohammad Farooque. Most of the cases pertain to corporate tax matters, National Accountability Bureau, bails and death sentences, service matters, and appeals against the judgements of the High Courts.
The apex Court has already notified that no application for adjournment through fax will be placed before the Court. In its notice the court said " If the counsel is unable to appear for any reason the Advocate-on-Record will be required to argue the case and no adjournment on any ground will be granted."
