Professor Iqrar appointed vice chancellor of Faisalabad agriculture university

On recommendations of the Vice Chancellor's Search Committee, the Governor Punjab Lieutenant General Khalid Maqbool (Retd) has appointed Professor Iqrar Ahmad Khan as Vice Chancellor of University of Agriculture, Faisalabad for a period of four years.
Dr Iqrar would be the 16th Vice Chancellor of the University. He will assume his charge after the completion of four years tenure of his predecessor Professor Bashir Ahmad. Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan earned his Doctorate and Post-Doctoral degrees from University of California Riverside, USA with distinction.
He has 31 years experience in research and development aspects of agriculture, biology and environments. He has undertaken research and teaching assignments at seven universities (6 aboard) as a part of professional growth.
