Hoarders enjoying price-hike

Hoarders in different cities of the southern Punjab have increased the prices of vegetables and other commodities of daily use without any fear of check on them. The prices of fruits and vegetables have been increased from 15 to 20 percent while that of pulses from 12 to 15 percent.
The caretaker government has failed in controlling the price-hike and the profiteers are taking full advantage of the situation. Utility stores are also falling short of people's demand as large number of people were seen in long queues outside the utility stores for ghee but in vain.
