GCU appoints 27 assistant professors

The GC University Lahore has appointed 27 assistant professors under the Tenure Track System (TTS) while following strictly the criteria laid down by Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. The GC University's syndicate in its 23rd meeting approved the appointment of all these professors.
These PhD assistant professors will be paid monthly over Rs 90,000. per month. Those who have been taken on TTS include doctors Imtiaz Ahmed (Arabic) Hamid Mukhtar (bio-technology), Mohsin Javed (bio-technology), Zahid Hussain (bio-technology), Mehmood Ali Khan (bio-technology), Muhammad Amin ullah Shah (botany), Khalid Farooq Akbar(Botany), Durre Shahwar, Zahid Qureshi, Irfana Mariam, Muhammad Ather Abbasi, Aziz ur rehman, Muhammad Jehangir, Fahim A Qureshi, Ahmed Adnan and Muhammad Aslam Awan (Chemistry), M Maroof Gohar (mathematics), Sobia Tahir (philosophy), M Nauman Sarwar Qureshi (physics), Salamat Ali (physics), Affia Aslam, Shabbir Ahmed rana (psychology), Amtul bari Tabinda (SDSC), Engr. Abdullah Yasir (SDSC), Haroon Qadir (Urdu), Muhammad Ashraf Mirza (zoology) and M Arshad (zoology).
