A Lahore High Court division bench has adjourned until March 5 and 6 a string of election petitions challenging the Election Commission for failing to recount the votes. The petitions came from Daniyal Aziz, Malik Umar Aslam Awan, Malik Jaffar Iqbal, Ashifa Riaz Fatiana, Mian Abdul Manan and others.
The bench decision stemmed from a statement by one of its members saying the petitions had come to the bench too late forcing the bench to delay the cases.
