University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore vice-chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Nawaz has inaugurated a tree plantation campaign by planting a sapling of palm tree in the lawn of the Pathology Department on the City Campus.
Vice-chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Nawaz said on Wednesday that for a healthy and pleasant environment, trees should be grown in large number on the campus. The university will plant about 2,000 saplings on its campuses in Lahore, Bhuneki (Pattoki) and Jhang. Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Professor Dr Zafar Iqbal Chaudhry and faculty members were also present.
