Three security men killed, 5 injured in mine blasts

Three security personnel were killed and another five sustained serious injuries in two separate incidents of land mine explosion near Dera Bugti and Sui Saturday. According to details, a security forces vehicle was on its routine patrol near Dera Bugti today.
It crossed over a land mine laid in the ground of the area. It exploded in which Muhammad Omar was killed on the spot. Naib Subedar Abdul Latif and driver Abdul Ghafoor got seriously injured and were shifted to Pano Aqil for treatment.
Another incident occurred near Sui today in which one security official was killed and three were injured. According to details a security forces vehicle was returning to its camp near Sui. It struck a land mine in which it was badly damaged. One inmate was killed and two others were seriously injured. They were taken to Quetta for treatment. Soon after, Security forces carried out search operation and arrested three suspects Hyder Khan, Sarwar Ali and Karim alias Karimo. Three kilograms of explosives, five kalashnikov (AK-47 rifles), and more than 50 rounds of ammunition were also recovered from their possession.
