Notices served to eateries for unhygienic conditions

The Task Force of Directorate of Health Services (DHS), CDA has issued 348 notices to hotels, restaurants, bakeries and cafeterias for unhygienic conditions and non-compliance of rules in the month of February.
The senior Director, DHS, Dr Saeed Ahmed said the Task Force visited different shops, hotels, restaurants, bakeries and cafeterias in different sectors, Blue area, Food Street, Aabpara Market, G-9 Markez, Peshawar Mor, Jinnah Super Market, Super Market, Supreme Court, Parliament House, Parliament Lodges, Government Hostel, Cabinet Division and Pak Secretariat.
The force during checking issued 348 notices to owners, challaned 48 owners for unhygienic conditions and took sample of 64 edible items sent them for test, challaned 11 owners after finding the items substandard. Further, he said more than 421 shops, hotels, restaurants, bakeries, cafeterias were checked during the month long campaign.
