Agriculture university team departs for India

A twelve member delegation comprising ten students and two professors from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad led by Minister for Livestock Mumtaz Ahmad Khan Manhais left for seven days long visit to India. The delegation will visit the Indian provinces Himachal Pardesh and Punjab where the outcomes of various research organisations would be observed.
Professor Dr Abdul Salam and Professor Dr Muhammad Amjad are accompanying the delegation. The delegation will also visit University of Horticulture & Forestry Solan and Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana.
Dean faculty of Agriculture, Professor Dr Iftikhar Ahmad Khan while seeing them off advised the students belonging to various departments that it is a golden chance for them to enhance capacity by sharing mutual experiences with Indian students. He hoped that this seven days visit will be a milestone in order to capacity building of youth of both the countries. The delegation will return home on March 06, 2008.
