Halepota calls for maximum training in civil defence

Sindh Chief Minister former justice Abdul Qadir Halepota has appealed to people to get as much training in civil defence as could be possible. In a message on the occasion of International Civil Defence Day being observed here under the aegis of Federal Civil Defence Training School, Karachi.
The chief minister said that significance of civil defence world over is fast growing covering all spheres of human activity. Further development and strengthening of system of safeguards of life must be given priority and to ensure its continuity, he emphasised. He, therefore, appealed to the citizens to get as much training as could be possible in civil defence, which is in the country's interest.
He said that it is a matter of prides that Federal Civil Defence Training School Karachi (CDTSK) has a tradition of observing this day by holding seminars, demonstrations, speeches and posters competitions on the subject among schools. He hoped that CDTSK will continue to play its vital role towards the promotion of civil defence in the country.
