Secretary General Pakistan Muslim League (N) Iqbal Zafar Jhagra on Wednesday said that restoration of real democracy in the country is key to solve major issues. Talking to a private television channel he said the challenges are big for the next government but the leadership of democratic forces will succeed to face them with the people at their back.
He said once real democracy is restored, the solution of all contentious issue including terrorism would be found. Jhagra said that people have given mandate in favour of democratic forces in the recent election despite involvement of government machinery in favour of pro-status quo forces.
It is now responsibility of the leadership to work in line with peoples' mandate, he said. The PML-N leader said his party deems the restoration of deposed judges of supreme and high courts a first priority and it will remain committed to this stance.
