Apwa to mark International Women's Day on March 8

The All Pakistan Women's Association (APWA) has chalked out an elaborate programme to mark the International Women's Day on March 8. This was announced by an office-bearer of the Apwa Central here on Wednesday. She said the triennial conference of Apwa would be organised on March 8 in Lahore.
Former justice Javed Iqbal would be the chief guest at the inaugural session. Caretaker Federal Minister Barrister Shahida Jamil will deliver the keynote address.
An exhibition of the handicrafts by the women would also be organised on the occasion. The Women Development Department, Government of Sindh, will also celebrate the International Women's day in a befitting manner. A detailed programme has been chalked out in this connection.
