MMA President and Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmed was not allowed to meet Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan in KRL Hospital. Qazi Hussain Ahmed visited KRL Hospital to inquire about the health of the detained father of Pakistan nuclear bomb, Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, who is suffering from low blood pressure and fever.
The hospital authorities locked the doors of the hospital and made lame excuses. After the refusal, Qazi Hussain Ahmed talking to newsmen said that the nation is concerned about the health of its hero. He demanded that his, what he said, mental torture be ended. "He is also my personal friend. I have been receiving his messages during his detention and I several times inquired about his health", Qazi Hussain Ahmed said.
