Boeing said Tuesday it filed a formal challenge to the US Air Force decision to award a 35-billion-dollar aerial refuelling tanker contract to Northrop Grumman and its European partner EADS.
The Chicago-based aerospace giant said it filed a protest with the Government Accountability Office (GAO), asking the investigative arm of the US Congress to review the decision.
