Secretary General Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) and JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Saturday said MMA would extend unconditional support to PPP-led coalition government in the centre with regard to ministries.
However, a committee of PPP and MMA is working on a power-sharing formula, he told a private television. If the things are settled amicably then MMA would sit in the federal cabinet otherwise it would sit on treasury benches and support the coalition government unconditionally, he added.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said prior to enter dialogue with PPP, MMA had put forth some concerns over several issues including media, judiciary, foreign policy and on formation of national government, which had thoroughly been discussed and were accepted to remove. So, the MMA would extend unconditional support to PPP-led coalition government in running government affairs, the Secretary General concluded.
