Score of workers of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) on Saturday staged a protest demonstration here asking co-chairperson, Asif Ali Zardari to nominate Makhdoom Amin Fahim for the slot of Prime Minister. The workers assembled here at Press Club.
They were carrying banners and placards inscribed with the slogans as 'Amin Fahim should be nominated as PM' and also chanted slogans in favour of Amin Fahim. Speaking on the occasion, they said that Amin Fahim was right candidate for the slot of prime minister as he has rendered valuable sacrifices for the party.
They demanded to the executive committee and co-chairman of the party to nominate Amin Fahim as PM. "He is sincere and it was his due right" they added. They further said that they have also right to express their views about the party affairs. They asked the executive committee and co-chairman to consider their aspirations. They also said that conspiracies were hatched by the hidden hands to disperse the power of the party as well as Mahkdoom Amin Fahim.
