A Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leader on Saturday called upon Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and PML Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif to finalise the candidate for premiership at the earliest. PML-N Leader Rao Ashiq Ali Khan talking to newsmen said that delay in announcing the name for prime minister's slot was causing uncertainty in the country.
He warned that the delay might benefit the opponents in their designs to sabotage people's mandate given on February 18. "It is in the interest of the nation to announce the name for the PM office as early as possible".
Rao Ashiq hoped that the coalition would be able to steer the country out of crises. Furthermore, he urged Mian Nawaz Sharif to nominate Begum Tehmina Daultana for federal ministerial slot so that Vehari could be represented in the cabinet.
