Forty fifth annual medical symposium of Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center (JPMC) will begin on March 25 with the theme "Health for Under-Privileged." Chairman of the symposium committee, Professor Dr Mussarat Hussain here on Monday invited registrations, abstracts and proposals for the event from doctors, surgeons and postgraduate medical students.
The abstracts, he stressed must include the title of the presentation, name of author and institution and the text which should not exceed 250 words. Intending participants and researchers keen to make their presentation were advised to send the relevant matter, along with a CD, to the symposium secretariat at JPMC or via email to annualsymposiumjpmc@live.com by February 29. Professor Mussarat Hussein mentioned that JPMC has been holding its annual medical symposium regularly for over four decades with the objective to highlight research activities in JPMC, as well as in other institutions, both within and outside Pakistan.
Inaugural cum plenary sessions on first day of the 45th annual medical symposium of JPMC was said to be followed by multiple scientific sessions on March 26 and March 27 comprising state of the art lectures, invited talk, panel discussions and original research papers.
