Insurgents killed at least seven people in attacks across Iraq on Tuesday, including two policemen in Baghdad, security officials said. The latest attacks came as US Vice President Dick Cheney ended a surprise two-day visit to Iraq.
Two policemen and a civilian were killed and seven others wounded when a roadside bomb exploded in Baghdad's north-eastern neighbourhood of Al-Binuk, a security official said. Another bomb explosion in a market in Baghdad's northern Al-Shaab neighbourhood killed one civilian and wounded 13 others, the official added.
