Air France-KLM CEO Jean-Cyril Spinetta on Wednesday ruled out extending a March 31 deadline for striking a deal with Alitalia's unions, who have opposed the Franco-Dutch carrier's proposal.
Spinetta also reiterated that he wanted the blessing of Italy's next government before concluding a deal, saying a deal that went against the will of Italy's administration - which has a 49.9 percent stake in the carrier - could not be done.
