'No compromise on sovereignty of parliament'

General Secretary Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Lahore Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman while ruling out any compromise on supremacy of constitution and sovereignty of parliament has said that people of the country were united to meet these goals.
Talking to party workers, he said the agreement among the democratic forces for reinstatement of deposed judges, independence of judiciary and other important issues had caused despondency and despair among the rulers.
He said that unity in the ranks of democratic forces would help strengthen democracy in the country. He held the former regime responsible for instability, chaos, poverty and hunger in the country. He said any amendments in Constitution with two-third majority was not required for restoration of judges, adding the rulers were creating confusion in this regard.
