NRO to be test case for Iftikhar after restoration: Qazi

Jamaat-i-Islami Amir Qazi Hussain Ahmad has said that National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) would be test case for deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry after his restoration. Addressing to a seminar about restoration of judiciary on Saturday.
Qazi Hussain Ahmad noted that the nation was asking how an individual could forgive the looters of national exchequer, adding that the JI would approach apex court when Justice Chaudhry is restored and he would give verdict over it.
The JI Amir pointed out that only crime of Justice Chaudhry was his effort to find out the missing people who were disappeared by secret agencies or handed them over to the US for money.
He demanded all deposed judges including Justice Chaudhry to reinstate as the concept of independence of judiciary not possible without their restoration. "PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif had promised at the All Parties Democratic Movement meeting to launch movement and quit government if all deposed judges including Justice Chaudhry are not restored" he added.
On this occasion, JI leader Fareed Paracha vowed to strongly protest if the judges was not restored within thirty days and the government follow the US line.
