Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrated with religious fervour in Sialkot

Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) was celebrated with religious fervour and great enthusiasm in Sialkot district on Friday. The daylong programmes started with special prayers for unity, prosperity and solidarity of the country as well as for early liberation of Indian occupied Kashmir at all mosques of the district.
On this occasion religious, educational and cultural organisations organised programme on the life of the Prophet (PBUH), wherein religious scholars elaborated and shed lights on the various aspect of the life of the Prophet.
Milad processions were also taken out in different areas of the districts. Addressing the processions and congregations, Ulemas and religious leaders urged the people to follow the footsteps of the Holy Prophets and forged unity among their ranks.
They said that Islam is religion of peace, tolerance and brotherhood and had strongly condemned the barbarism and killing of innocent people. It is high time that we should mould our lives in accordance with the teaching of Holy Prophet (PBUH) not only for overcoming our multifarious problems but also demonstrating true.
