Five including four students killed in three mishaps

Five persons including four students were killed, while more than two dozen injured in various road accidents. In first accident, Muhammad Naeem rickshaw driver was killed, while four passengers injured, when a bus collided with his rickshaw near Chak 190-RB. Bus driver fled away.
In another accident, a student of primary school, Ali Raza was crushed to death by a tractor trolley near Sidhupura. In third accident, three students were killed and four injured in a road accident involving a rickshaw and coaster near Rajabad in area of police station Bhawana.
According to details, a Multan-bound passenger coaster LSP-5219 from Rawalpindi and rickshaw carrying school children collided head-on, killing three students on the spot. Four others and the rickshaw driver sustained serious injuries. Three wounded were shifted to a nearby rural health centre, which referred one to Allied Hospital, Faisalabad because of his critical condition. On information, police reached the scene and started rescue work.
