The regional meeting of Saarc countries on counter-terrorism cooperation and meeting of the police chiefs scheduled for March 25 has been rescheduled for April 15. Interior Ministry spokesman Brigadier Javed Iqbal Cheema on Tuesday said that due to final hectic phase of transition, the meeting has been delayed.
The meeting of Saarc focal group on counter-terrorism and police chiefs has now been fixed for April 15 to 17, he added. "The new date for the important meeting of experts from the region has been set after necessary consultations with the Secretariat of the organisation and the governments of member countries," he said.
