ISLAMABAD: For the first-time in Pakistan, a Chinese language newspaper named ‘Huashang’ has been launched in Pakistan along with an English edition.
The prime prospects of the newspaper are Chinese embassy staff, Chinese nationals living in Pakistan and people working in Chinese firms.
The head office of the newspaper is situated in Islamabad that publishes 5000 copies every week. Targeting 60,000 readers weekly, Huashang has published its 21st edition this week in Pakistan, according to BBC.
The office of the Chinese daily has a unique milieu that reflects the atmosphere of Beijing in Islamabad. In Chinese language ‘Hua’ means flower and ‘Shang’ means business, therefore, the literally meaning of Huashang is business of flower, but here it means “Pure Business”.
