Insipid business was seen on the grain market on Thursday as most of the commodities maintained the overnight levels, dealers said. On the seed side, til Sindh good type gained Rs 700 to Rs 5000 and better type was up by Rs 500 to Rs 5500.
Cottonseed oilcake low type rose by Rs 20 to Rs 600 while the best quality did not move any side at Rs 650, cottonseed oilcake with bag new, good type, however, shed Rs 10 to Rs 750 and low type was unmoved at Rs 740, they said.
Sugar low type rose by Rs 50 to Rs 2000 while the fine quality was lower by Rs 60 to Rs 2300, other types maintained the overnight levels, they said. On the cereal side, a solo deal was reported as masoor Canada was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 6250, they said. On rice sector, Irri white quoted at Rs 1860-1870 and Basmati registered at Rs 2750-2800, other types held the overnight levels in process of trading, they said.
