Tree plantation campaign begins at UAF

A large number of Neem and Shehsham trees would be planted in and around the Campus during spring tree plantation campaign at UAF. This was stated by the UAF Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan while inaugurating tree plantation campaign at the Campus here on Friday.
Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan urged the need for immediate preparation of playgrounds besides the residential hostel so that boarder students may take part in healthy activities.
He directed the Forestry and Range Management to plant a large number of traditional Neem and Shesham plants. He later on planted a Palm plant in ground located behind the Cafeteria. Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus, Dean Faculty of Animal Husbandry offered "Dua". A large number of senior faculty members and administrative staff attended the ceremony.
