Tearful Bilawal

While the newly elected leader of the house, Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, entered the National Assembly, one could not help feeling sorry for Bilawal as he wiped away his tears among thumping desks, clapping of hands and deafening shouts of 'Benazir Zinda Hai'. He must have missed his mother probably thinking she should have been there to grace the occasion.
I can tell Bilawal that millions of people shared his emotions, missing one of the greatest politicians of the country at that very moment. It is a sad story of Pakistani politics that political leaders are repeatedly eliminated from the scene by either the bullets or bombs of ruthless terrorists; or by the unconstitutional orders of power-hungry people.
