Wheat futures on the Chicago Board of Trade fell early on Friday on technical weakness and spillover from a sharp drop in soybeans, traders said. Soybeans plunged more than 50 cents a bushel, trading with a newly expanded daily limit of 70 cents.
As of 9:35 am CDT (1435 GMT), CBOT May wheat was down 27 cents at $9.87 per bushel.
