The first ever Middle East Pakistan Agriculture and Dairy Investment Forum was held in Dubai on Saturday. An announcement here on Saturday said that the Investment Forum was organised by MAP Services Group and was duly supported by Al Rabi Saudi Arabia, Tetra Pak, Nestle, DeLaval, Millac Foods and Shakargunj Limited.
It said that the objective of the Dubai Forum is to showcase Pakistan's dairy and agriculture sector for the Middle East/Gulf investors and for compatible Pakistani and Gulf business houses to exchange contacts, experiences and network with a view to generating interest in investments and joint venture opportunities in the sector. Additionally, Pakistan's private sector would like to acknowledge the contributions of Abu Dhabi Group, which is one of the largest foreign Investors in the country.
The group's Investments include Bank Alfalah, Warid Telecom International, Wateen Telecom International and United Bank Limited, in addition to health and education sector. In lieu of this Abu Dhabi Group would be presented with Largest Foreiggn Investor of Pakistan award. This will be the first ever award presented by Pakistani private sector to an investment Group.
