APHC welcomes Gilani's statement on Kashmir

All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) while terming the statement of Prime Minister, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani in National Assembly on Kashmir as realistic and positive asked the Indian government to show positive attitude to resolve the Kashmir issue.
In a statement issued in Srinagar on Sunday, the APHC hoped that India would come forward to settle this dispute for peace and safety of the region from nuclear destruction and prosperity of the people of South Asia.
Welcoming the statement, the APHC said Gilani rightly mentioned three points in his statement - resolving the Kashmir issue according to the wishes of Kashmiris, not allowing great sacrifices offered by Kashmiris to go waste and linking of the Confidence Building Measures with resolving the issue during the dialogue process.
The statement said time had come that the three parties to the dispute - Pakistan, India and Kashmiris should sit together to settle this issue once and for all.
