Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Director General has ordered to repatriate his Assistant Director, Zakaullah Bajwa to his parent department, after following the registration of a case against him over the misuse of his power.
According to details the action against Zakaullah Bajwa was taken following a number of complaints lodged by the lady teachers of Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib Districts. DG ACE has also asked Punjab government to initiate departmental inquiry against the accused officer.
According to details, lady teachers serving at Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib lodged a number of complaints to DG ACE that Zakaullah Bajwa, Assistant Director Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), Sheikhupura was continuously blackmailing and harassing them. Lady teachers accused Zakaullah Bajwa of misusing his powers has initiated inquiries against them on the basis of baseless and anonymous applications.
However, DG ACE, after preliminary inquiry, transferred Zakaullah Bajwa to Kasur and strictly ordered to mend his attitude. Meanwhile, the accused, despite joining his duties at Kasur, took important files of inquiries and cases about education department and absconded. A case was also registered in this regard.
